DownloadThe Commercial Center business association welcomes and encourages you to support us by becoming a member today! We are a non-profit organization that has developed out of a community need, to unite all businesses within the Commercial Center and surrounding business areas. Our purpose is to unify the thriving business district we have and to beautify and maintain our shopping center. We offer business support services & publications to our members. We are here to act as one voice in contact with various Clark County Agencies and maintain good business relations with these departments to have the needs of our members met. Since our creation in August 2006, we have developed good relationships with Clark County Public Works, Republic Services, Clark County Liaison, LVMPD, and we have to our credit the beautification plan of 953 Sahara Clark County Public Parking Lot and Surrounding areas. We are involved with community service projects to maintain our business district @ Commercial Center. Our main Goal is to beautify and promote our Commercial Center for the benefit of our members and the community.
Currently we are developing our membership levels and benefits and the following is available now. By becoming a member you will receive our quarterly newspaper, give suggestions and concerns about your areas, receive a vehicle stickers, and a neighborhood business watch packet, a member plaque and certificate of membership for your business, listing in our full color shopping center directory, placement on our full service shopping mall website commercialcenterdistrict.com with a directory listing, and a special ad space, photo, and link to your site, Subscription to our Publication tentatively Commercial Center News, Storefront sidewalk Cleaning and parking area directly in front of members business, Security, they will check your front/back doors and secure the area while they are posted. These are but a few of the benefits. Other levels of membership are available to you and you are encouraged to join at the highest level you are able to. You may make any amount one-time contributions aside from your membership and be given honorable mention in our press releases, and we will promote you within the community with a special award. Dues are paid in advance for the year as this helps us to set our budget, special considerations can be made if you are not able to pay the year in advance.

One representative of your company will be the designated member. That person is entitled to all rights, voting privileges and benefits of membership in the Commercial Center Business Association. Additional staff members may attend events and enjoy membership privileges by becoming Associate Members.
Investment: Except for certain categories that have their own dues schedule, membership is based on a company’s number of full time, permanent employees.

We will continue to move forward to maintain the atmosphere of Safety, Cleanliness and Beauty that we have created since 2006, which will ensure the success of the Commercial Center for many years to come. So that all that become involved with the Association will benefit greatly with the highest of Success in all ways possible. We have adopted the Name “The Historic Commercial Center District World Village” we created the first of its kind shopping mall advertisements, advertising the over 100 businesses and restaurants now open and over 15 nations and diversities here at the Center. We are promoting the Center as a Historical Business Landmark, (we are researching this now and building our history highlights book of the Decades naming famous persons and business happenings over the years, which will be featured online and available in print for your business. We are the 1st in Las Vegas, and now a true World Marketplace, we now have instant “New Positive Public Image”, with the work the Association continues to do. We are now What’s HOT! Market research indicates the return of the open-air marketplace, with park like themes settings, and curbside parking. We are 100 businesses strong. Our plan is to create a World Art Garden within the Medians at Commercial Center, on top of our New Beautiful Artificial Grasses. This Garden will feature artwork and sculptures 3 to 4 or more pieces per median, telling a story through artistic expression about the Country in which is portrayed, a country flag will wave at the front, with an artist plaque and dedication.
Included will also be an International themed median, and a Las Vegas themed median. That all artist will work on together we will be using UNLV, CCSN, as well as local artist who will donate there time for the public work, and larger companies will be asked to donate materials, like Home Depot, Lowe’s, Etc. Our Visitor Center @ A Harmony Nail Spa will offer maps/directories, answer questions, and provide a host of concierge services to the public, as well as sell our new Shopping Center Visa Gift Cards. Our New Website commercialcenterdistrict.com” features all the amenities of the best shopping mall websites, such as a directory, event calendars, & press room to just mention a few, along with translation to several languages making it original. Currently we market and promote the shopping center vigorously as The Commercial Center District A True Las Vegas Legend. We will have additional ad space available and printable coupons as well. Soon we will be making a press release naming all contributors, and we will create a story of triumph over challenge of this project, as eminent domain was a danger in the recent past, as well as large developers have tried to buy up the business and move everyone out. We know the county has files of the past problems of the center, which without your membership we can cannot continue to move forward, and without your support the threat of your business being taken by eminent domain is great, without your support the problems of the past will return in full force, and probably greater causing the ultimate loss of all business here. BLIGHT STUDY IN 2003 REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, AND WAS MENTIONED VERY POORLY, WE WERE COMPARED WITH ABANDONED AND BOARDED UP SHOPPING CENTERS CLOSE BY, WE HAVE SEEN A DECLINE IN INTEREST FROM CLARK COUNTY AND METRO OVER THE PAST YEARS, COMPOUNDING OUR PROBLEM ON PUBLIC LAND, NOW THE COUNTY CREATED A REPORT TO TRY TO TAKE YOUR BUSINESS AND DISPLACE 200 MOSTLY MINORITY BUSINESS OWNERS, WE AS A GORUP HAVE INVESTED MILLIONS IN THIS SHOPPING CENTER AND IT IS OURS WE WILL NOT LET THEM TAKE IT FROM US AND GIVE US UNDER FAIR MARKET VALUE, WORTH NEARLY 700 MILLION. THE PARKING LOT ALONE IS WORTH 8 MILLION DOLLARS APROXIMATE VALUE OF BUSINESS HERE IS OVER 100 MILLION DOLLARS. WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT TO CONTINUE SO JOIN TODAY TO SAVE THE SHOPPING CENTER.
